Sunday in Singapore

It was oddly lovely to pass by a packed hindu shrine on a Sunday. I'll try to upload the photo later, but it was interesting see scads of shoes randomly sitting on the sidewalk outside while clearly lots and lots of people were...praying, meditating, communing. Lovely!

I think I got a little bamboozelled...guy saw me coming...LITERLLY as I was running to catch the Sey Hop (tourist bus). It's like 89 degrees and 2000% humidity...and I was RUNNING! So anywho, he sat down and started chatting then offered to show me to the Funan digital life mall...after a few stops.

OK...I went to the jewelery wholesale mart and actually bought a white gold ring with a brazilian garnet square cut stone...what the hell was I thinkin'? 475SGD...that's real money.

Then, flush from the ring debacle, I was taken to a tailor where I'm having 3 suits made...for $2600 SGDddddd?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!! WTF?

Anywho, so now I'm just gonna work and stop with the spending cause I'm done. next is Bangalore (Bengaluru)...know for Bangles....I'll not walk like an Egyptian...but will definitely see what I can find. Good grief...OHHHH and silk I hear is great for it....
